For the second straight summer, Blue Jays legend Joe Carter will be hosting the Joe Carter Classic Golf Tournament. Taking place on June 29, 2011, at Eagles Nest Golf Club in Maple, Ontario.

Participants will enjoy 18 holes of scramble format golf, breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as an open beverage cart with all proceeds will benefit The Children’s Aid Foundation. The tournament will involve over 20 top name celebrities ranging from the world of sports and entertainment. Raffles and a silent auction will take place as well as celebrity and guest interaction.

Last years event saw 25 celebrity names such as Charles Barkley, Ray Bourque, Trish Stratus, PK Subban and Rick Vaive, along side many more.  The sold out event was deemed a success after raising over $70,000 for The Children’s Aid Foundation.

Toronto’s home run hero looks to continue to ride the success of his 2010 classic and provide more children with more opportunity.
