On Tuesday, March 29, 2011, Japan’s top soccer players from around the world will gather on one field for a special fundraising event for Japan Disaster Relief.The match will feature Japan’s National Team, the Samurai Blue, and the J- League All Star team in support of American Red Cross, marking the first game held on Japanese soil since March 11, 2011.
Players from European clubs in Italy, Spain, England, Germany, France, Belgium, Russia and the Netherlands will be taking a leave to play in this special event. All J- League competition has been put on hold until April 23, 2011, due to earthquake relief and rebuilding.
Dallas based Sports Network Company, One World Sports, will broadcast the game at 9 p.m. EDT. They are also making the game available to 15 regional sports networks across America in hopes of building awareness and generating more support for the American Red Cross and Japan Relief.
