Hamilton Tiger-Cats defensive end Stevie Baggs gave back to the city of Hamilton last weekend, hosting a Co-Ed Athletic Symposium and Life Skills Clinic at the Hamilton Boys and Girls Club.
Baggs was joined by teammate Kevin Glenn, along-side several other sports specific trainers. The Athletic Symposium and Life Skills clinic was aimed to help local youth to not only become better athletes, but to become better citizens within the community.
Tickets for the event — which was hosted by the CETA Foundation — went at $40 a piece, which included two tickets to any Ti-Cats home game for this upcoming season.
As President of the CETA Foundation, Baggs continues to make plays happen on and off the field. Creating Empowerment Through Autonomy is a leading advocacy proponent of community awareness, neighborhood preparedness and individual self-sufficiency in the state of Georgia and beyond.
Acquired by the Tiger-Cats in September, 2010, Stevie Baggs is a key asset to not only the Tiger-Cat organization, but, for the city of Hamilton and its youth. He is an athlete that can be admired for his all-around efforts as a member of the Tiger-Cat community.
