UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones looks to prepare for another challenge, but this fight won’t be taking place inside the octagon.
According to Sherdog.com, Jones will participate in an online auction to benefit kids who suffer from autism, sponsored by the Learning Links Foundation of Miami.
Jones reportedly will donate his V.I.P package to a two day training seminar at Jackson’s Mixed Martial Arts in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The package will include transportation, a hands-on training session with the UFC Champion and renowned trainer, Greg Jackson, plus lodging and hotel accommodations.
Jones says he wants to give back to the community and show his appreciation for fans.
“Everywhere I go, I am touched by all the support I receive from UFC fans,” Jones told Sherdog.com.
“I want to show my support, too, and help local communities, so I do not hesitate offer this training package to the Learning Links of Miami to benefit children with autism.”
Jones’ starting bid is listed at $2,500.
The Learning Links Foundation of Miami is a non-profit organization whose intention is to provide children a chance to enter a learning environment that will promote them to acquire appropriate behaviour in order to excel within school, family and their community.
