As we approach the end of a season in which the Raptors franchise and most of its fans would like to forget, it’s hard to put a positive spin on things within an organization that hasn’t seen the post season since 2008 and is searching for a franchise leader. This however doesn’t seem to bother the hundreds of kids who attend the Raptors basketball clinics and camps throughout the summer months.
The Raptors have a large role in the Canadian community, being Canada’s only NBA team and have done a more than respectable job filling that role. The Raptors Basketball Academy presented by Adidas is Canada’s only NBA instructional camp and gives kids the tools they need to elevate their game, on and off the court.
The camp gives children the chance to be pro active, while learning basketball basics and ways to take their game to the next level. Participants also get the chance to meet and greet with their favourite Raptors players.
